  13. I justs did the ultimate test for the Motorola Power 28.8 modems.
  14. I called the Motorola BBS in the USA.

  16. If V.34 is enabled (even if I limit speed to max. 14400 bps), I get a NO
  17. CARRIER before the negotiation is finished.

  19. If I say V.32bis only, I connect at 14400 bps...

  21. Now, V.34 should be less sensitive to noise than V.32bis, so I wonder why
  22. this problem is still there. Has been there since flash-RAM version 1.
